Nomination Requirements for the Nspired Image Awards – Music Categories

To be eligible for nomination in the categories of singing, rapping, or music videos, the following criteria must be met:
 

1. Licensing Requirement: All artists must be under proper licensing agreements for their music.
    

2. Music Release:

   • Artists must have released at least one single or a full album of original music.

   • The music must have been played on a licensed online platform or radio cycle.
      

3. Advocacy Requirement: Artists must demonstrate their commitment to motivating and inspiring the next generation through community engagement or advocacy initiatives.
    

4. Music Video Requirement: For music video nominations, the video must have been published and achieved a minimum of 1,000 views.
    

5. Submission Deadline: All nominations must be submitted by February 15, 2025.
    

6. Supporting Materials: Nominators must provide supporting materials, including:

   • A brief biography of the artist

   • A synopsis of the music or album

   • Evidence of community advocacy or initiatives aimed at youth motivation (e.g., projects, testimonials)

   • Documentation of music play on licensed platforms

   • Professional Headshot 300 dpi or higher in size of 8x10
      

7. Independent Status: The artist must be classified as an independent musician, not signed to a major record label.
